Neil joined Hampsthwaite during the inception of the old Reserves side in 1993 and has stuck with the club ever since.

A true club man and an ultra-reliable player, be it in his best position, defence or in midfield where he is also fully capable of playing a role.

Neil will run himself into the ground for the cause and can go all day if you ask him, played 2 consecutive football matches immediately after each other to prove the point last season!

Neil has also experience defeat in numerous Cup Finals at the club but has also experienced the highs of Championship Winning sides in 1996 and 1998.

A winner who knows what it takes to get there, adding invaluable experience and calm to a sometimes panic-striken side!

Expected to establish himself on the right of United's defence this season.
